I already have a Facebook page — do I need a website too?+
A Facebook page is rented ground — you don't control how it looks, who sees it, or whether it shows up when someone Googles you. A website is yours: it ranks in local search, looks professional, and works for the half of your customers who aren't on Facebook.
How long does the whole process take?+
Most sites go live within 7–10 business days of our kickoff call, depending on the package. The biggest variable is usually how quickly you can send over content like photos and service details — I'll give you a simple checklist so nothing stalls.
What if I want changes after the site is live?+
Minor updates — hours, prices, photos, small text changes — are included in your hosting plan. For bigger additions like a whole new page or feature, I'll quote it up front as a flat price before any work starts.
Do I own my website?+
Yes — your domain, your content, and your site are yours, full stop. Pagebox manages hosting as a service, not as leverage: if you ever leave, I'll hand everything over cleanly and help you move it. No hostage situations.
What if my business is outside Halifax?+
Pagebox is built around HRM, but the process works anywhere in Nova Scotia and beyond — calls and reviews happen over video just as easily. You just won't get me showing up with a coffee.
